  We appraise books, documents, photographs and paper collections

Pricing

• In-store - single item, letter provided, minium : $50.00
• Minimal out appraisal : $200.00 plus expenses
• 1/2 day appraisal : minimum $400.00 plus expenses
• Full Day appraisal: minimum $750.00 plus expenses
• Cultural Property Act: add $100.00 to above fees
  Institution must provide the following:
  • Name & Address of present owner of objects being appraised.
  • Detailed description of the items (author, title, date published, edition, dimensions in cm and inches, condition, provenance)
• Estates: follow-up discussions will be billed a minimum of $20.00 per phone call $40.00 per letter and daily rate plus expenses
• HST is payable on all fees
• Appraisals are refunded if items are purchased by Attic Books
